  Well tried the fried yesterday gotta say that's my favorite fried fish around our area. Amazing fried fish some of best fried catfish I ever have had awesome stuff can't say enough about fish or Mac n cheese the Mac n cheese is really hood also hard to find good Mac n cheese now days.

  There is no pictures necessary once again they served hot chicken tenders and hot french fries and hot okra served in a reasonable amount of time. I do have one complaint they minimize the amount of gravy they give out on the family tenders.

  Truly the best fried chicken I've ever had .
  I grew up about a block from this place so I can remember getting it pretty much everyday after school for dinner . Truly delicious.
  
  They have fried chicken ( which is soooo crispy and juicy ), corn, potatoes , okra, fries, but my all time favorite, which they just added a few years back, the corn nuggets . Man I will come here just for those they are so damn yummy ! Delicious crunchy bite on the outside , with sweet corn filling . Man, now I'm hungry .
  
  So if you are in San Marcos ( it's located right next to Donald donuts , McDonald's , new vegan burger stand, etc) and want a cheap delicious meal , come by this awesome fried chicken joint !!

  I love this place so I brought a friend so they could see how great the food is. We went on 6/13/19 at 4:12pm. We got our food and immediately noticed that the chicken was cold like it had been sitting. I went to the counter and explained how the chicken was cold and could we possibly get some that was hot. I was told that it would be an hour before more was ready. I didn't quite understand why it would be such a long wait because I've never had to wait that long before to get fresh, hot chicken to to even cook a new batch of chicken (I've been a chicken cook at a couple of restaurants) The clerk, a male, was not apologetic at all for the chicken not being hot. I explained that I come here a lot and normally don't have an issue with the food not being hot and that I brought a friend here today specifically because the food is normally top notch..again the clerk made no attempt to remedy the situation. I didn't want a free meal or a refund, I just wanted the food we paid for to be hot. This clerk should be retrained and instructed on how to handle situations like this and the proper way to ensure customer satisfaction. I apologized to my friend for the negative experience and explained that normally the service and food was better than our visit on that occasion.

  Their fried catfish is the best in town, in my opinion. It's always fresh, and made to order; better than Cherry Creek Catfish and better than Catfish Parlour in Austin!
  
  It isn't fancy by any means, and the location is a bit small (10-12 tables), but it's worth a try if you're looking for some good catfish!
